The experience of developing family farming in Ukraine may also be of interest to other regions seeking ways to boost local production.
This topic was addressed during a meeting of Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Tenerife, where Mykhailo Korylkevych, founder of the “Family Dairy Farms” project, shared insights following the 35th Economic Forum in Karpacz.
One of the key topics was the potential for developing the agricultural sector on the island; while Tenerife boasts a robust tourism industry and high demand for food products, a significant portion of its supplies currently comes from mainland Spain.
Participants discussed whether this demand could serve as a catalyst for developing local production, agricultural clusters, and new models of cooperation among farmers, businesses, and the tourism industry.
